Red face Not so Quick Pasta

They say on the packet quick cook, al denete in 10 mins blah blah...

It took me 25 minutes too cook the pasta today... what am I doing wrong??...infact its always takes this long...

Are you bringing the water to a boil before you add your pasta?

yeah thats what i cant work out myself... 25 mins!!

Yeah i bring the water to boil, ad a pinch of salt and some olive oil ...

Pasta with pesto sauce! simple and not so quick

A couple of advise !!!

First if you have a cattler you make the water boil on it 1 min.

Second you don't put the oil in the water because it is not good at all.

And third if you want it al dente then you keep it 3 mins less then they say in the box.

Then you add the souce in a pan, pesto on this case, add some olive oil and drop the pasta in and keep it for a min.

If you want put an extra you can boil a potato and cut it in really small cube( really small) and add them to the pasta al pesto.

By the way that's italian pasta of course.

And the fresh one is not the one coming from the freezer
