In Reference To This Thread, I'd like to point out that there might be other options, You Might want a bit more outta a VoIP Client such as the case of Gizmo.
Also check your ISP as Most ISPs nowadays offer VoIP bundled with your Broadband connection and all cases it will be SIP compatible this is where Gizmo Comes in and exceeds Skype where Skype is king, is the user base and ability to run on a multitude of systems including PDAs and certain Mobile Phones and Gizmo is not far behind.
