Update
Any Guest OS can now run on any Host OS, with Full network using OpenVPN, sound and ghraphics support, In the case of sound I use a virtual sound card service and stream the sound over the network, and pick it up on a player on the host, as for ghraphics almost always it's native but you can pipe it over lan via Xserver or VNC and pick it up with a client on the host OS.
USB support for client OSes is not supported however I managed to access USB Hard Disks and Flash Card Readers as a network resource using SMB/SAMBA. Hard Disk File system on Host machine access is also done via Lan SMB/SAMBA. CD ROM support is Native or done via Lan. For Those that want to run Mac OS 8.1 I'll be covering how that can be done on Windows or Linux or even Mac OSX using BasiliskII and For Mac OS 9 That can be done using Sheepshaver for OSX, Linux or windows. Again just ask and I'll post a tutorial or reply, this will help me figure out what people want to do. Note: XBOX and PS2 can also be made to run Linux, Windows9X/ME, Panther OS8, OS9 etc..., Some PDAs already run Linux, running MacOS and Win32 Emulators on top of PDAs is also possible. Peace out |
