Nope, not mad babes, completely sane....

Norton is brilliant, regardless of it's faults. It will work better then the standard firewalls, though McAfee hits the spot for me.

And yes you do need a firewall. Dont want to get Hijacked now.........

Zone Alarm Free sucks. It is better then nothing...but really it does not protect well.

If you cherish your machine, invest some money in security-products. I think Symantec is the best for single or dual user connection. It's not the cheapest, but hey... nothing comes for free, does it?

You dont need a firewall, cause windows XP already comes integrated with one. U just hve to make sure its enabled. Try to download "Download Accelerator" and use it as your default download tool. Ne problems jus let us know

IMHO, if you are not using your pc for gaming, the best security is to deinstall windows and install fedora, suse or any other linux distribution.

If you want to test a linux version, the easyest way is to download knoppix, burn a cd and boot on the cd. It's completely safe, runs from the cd, does not install anything on your computer.

(if you have kids that turn on and of your pc, and causes windowz to go bananas, a knoppix cd in the cd player will save you time)
