Hi folks!
Any one tried to install Solaris on an x86 with XP an Linux already installed?

Tried to install Solaris 10 on my laptop, but it seems that it grabs the whole disk.

Any suggestions ?

never try to install all these OSes on the same computer unless you are looking for trouble , Solaris will take over your MBR and you gonna have a lot of headaches ...just install them seperately , and certainely not on an expenssive harware as a laptop !!!!!!! you can dual boot or tripple boot M$ OSes but do not mix them with others ....

Thanks

Had to try, M$ and Linux works fine in dual boot, but it seems that solaris is not intended to coexist with other OS.

I'll come back if i succeed in this matter.

Cheers.

I have heard some horror stories about dual booting Linux with M$ that I never dared to do it on my hardware , but it looks that the latest Linux distros are getting better and better and getting ready for the masses .....
