Free Templates/HTML question

Primo I must confess I am a total computer illiterate person. I know how to clean the cache, remove cookies and how to manage my Virusprogramm. That's all

Now I have taken the challenge upon me to extend my own business. I want to have my own website as extra service/promotion towards my clients. So basically I need to build my own website. I have never ever done that.
Before I wrestle through html for dummies, is there any free templates available I can use? And how do I use the free templates? Do I need to convert them myself into HTML? Duhh me, or what if I want to alternate a template? And is HTML really easy to learn? If so: where where where can I find good info?

Ofcourse I have googled, but I get too much info I am not looking for.

Have you tried investing in a software called NetObjects Fusion?

It's especially great for e-businesses and you can create a
website within minutes (Even for non-tech savvy ones).
And best of all, it will not cost you a bomb unlike the
other more popular, web-publishing programs out there.

ok, if Ur hosting company supports ASP Or PHP or mySQL Perl/CGI then you can get ready made portal software or Website management software, it makes authoring your site like interacting with this Forum, let me know what your hosting company supports and I will recommend a few solutions.
