(Asian) Working in Morocco

Hi there. My company is planning to relocate me to our Morocco office in Casablanca. I'm Asian and I so far don't know anything about Morocco except that it is a REALLY beautiful country with REALLY beautiful people.

I thought of posting this thread to know more about this very nice country from the people who knows best - Moroccans.

Let me know your thoughts about these -
1. How is it to live in Morocco when I do not obviously look like Moroccan?
2. What's the income tax rate in your country?

These are just two of the first questions that popped in my head. Any additional info/ insights that would help me to understand your country are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi - it's cool that you are going to Morocco, I hope you will enjoy it (i'm sure you will)

I'm Moroccan and I don't know really what's a typical Moroccan look like, we have all kind of looks, there's plenty of Asians living in Morocco. We are used to foreign people so to answer your first question, I don't think that's an issue. Casablanca is a big city and as a general rule just be cautious.

concerning the income tax, I'm not sure how much the rate are now, since I'm not living there atm, I'm sure you will get an answer here. if not i will search for you.
