I am new to this site and I like reading the messages on this site I think that they are very helpful.
I am thinking of opening a tourist shop in Marrakesh, perhaps supplying leather goods.
I shall need reliable business contacts there who can help me?

Because of the uniquness of the items sold in Morocco and especially in Marrakesh, and the fact that the people who make the products don't want their trades stolen from them, it is more than likely that you are going to have to do business directly with the people who make the wares (items) instead of a person who is a wholesaler.

We have wanted to do business in the United States and have found it is almost impossible to do so without having someone in Morocco actually buying the items from the vendors.
