I have a quick Question about the origins of the Berber people.

What are your origins?

I have read that Berbers are Arabs, Europeans, ect, and that they aren’t Black Africans.

How do you as Berbers view yourself, I think it is best if I knew how you see yourself rather than listen to some American or European person categorize you as a whole into a different racial group.

Thanks

Aneesa

The word "berber" is politically incorrect. You must call the indigenous people of North Africa Imazighen. They are of Semite origin, and most likely not American or European. American people do not exist. It is a melting pot of immigrants, slaves and the natives.

where did you come op with these ideas?

I don't know why you're asking where Imazighen came from! They're the original people of Morocco. It was the Arabs who came from the middle east. Did you think Morocco was completely vacant when other people came to it?

Aneesa, the origins of the Imazighen people are Caucasian, they come from the Caucus, from a long time ago.
I think at one point in ancient history they also mixed with the Phoenicians. Many North Africans are found to be genetically Phoenician...

There are many speculations on the origin of the amazigh people but the theory that prevails, in my opinion, is the one which says that the Arabian peninsula was the original home of Berbers.
