Why do you western girls want to get married with men that you meet online or on vacations, these men live in foreign countries far away and you don't know anything about them!! Can't you find a man in your own environment? What is the problem!?

Good question Why? of cause same goes for men too. Maybe women get carried away by the romance of something new and exotic...but to consider marraige on such a basis I think is a recipe for disaster. Spend time to get to know the person as well as you think you know yourself. Even then of cause, as with any relationship there is no garuantee it will work out as you wish but maybe I think stands a stronger chance of success. Add to the mix cultural and maybe religious differences plus visas and rules etc. all puts added stress. Your love for each other will have to be very strong.

yep but it is very stressing and for some it works just fine...you know what is meant to be..will be.
I thank Allah swt that every time things do not work out for me ,I know it was for my own good ,no matter how much stress ,...I wud just realise that Marriage is more than just seen each others ,distance,paper ,money ..it is about the personality of the person itself that is a barrier .and a person gets so much to him/herself that he can not even make a right decision and there he goes for fun and run away from Halal.a satan trik ..and that type will suffer indeed.

Why indeed. I also think respect plays a big part for oneself and your partner. Respect like love has to be earned. Accepting and loving a person for who they are, not what you wish them to be.
