I'm sure you've all heard of the uproar in the Muslim community over stories of folks at US facilities flushing copies of the Qur'an down the toilet and such. I've also read in the paper that in many predominantly Muslim nations, you can actually be executed (by law) for this.

My question is: Who thinks this is punishment to fit the crime? This is not a rogue band of extremists I'm talking about here. We're talking entire Nations. Where in God's universe is there justification for sentencing someone to death for disrespecting a book?

Flushing a Quran down your toilet is dangerous. It can get stuck in the sewer pipe.

I have new plumbing pipes. The sky is the limit for me now.

A friend of mine was given a Koran with the instruction that it should never be kept in the bath room.

If the Koran was intentionally handled to degrade the prisoners, it is wrong. But I think the reaction is too strong. I have a feeling this one gives a good excuse for some Muslims to vent their anger against America.

-----------------------------------

If the Bible were treated that way, I'm sure some church leaders will raise objections, but not in calling for hatred, anger, and death.

I have no superstition about bringing a Bible to the bathroom. It is only literature if one is not in relationship with God, or if one is not living by the Bible. It becomes dynamic only when we open up to God and read to see what He has to say to us.

I may have one thousand Bibles and stuck one in every corner of my house; but they are not going to help one bit if I live in disobedience.

People ignore the Bible to their own loss. But to the person who maliciously treat the Bible is another story. God Himself will take notice and do something about it. I have heard horror stories in this regard.

For Christians we don't have to yell death to Saudi Arabia for its abuse and restriction of the Bible. In due time, here or in eternity, God Himself will deal with the people there. I believe God is patient with them because He understands there is demonic power over Saudi Arabia that is enforcing the strict control.

It is God who sent the Quran and he is the one protecting it. what a person does is his own problem
Why we can not take the Quran to the bathromm because it is common sense. God is pure and will not accept his words to be taken to a dirty place but if a person worship satan satans most loved residence is the Toilets and dirty places
