The Right Side Corridor
The Mosque Palace must be thought of as a Mystical Mirage Palace somewhere in Morocco for now.
More Details: The speakers in the white laminated panels over the entrance to the corridors and the corner of the window and white stucco walls are round. The speaker covers are white just like the laminated ceiling panels.
The Penance coat closets in the back of the Mosque Room are sheetrocked and painted white. The door on the right opens right and the door to the one on the left opens left. There is a switch on the wall as you enter. the switch has a brass switch plate cover. The switches operate the light fixture on the ceiling of the rooms. The light fixture are brass with a white translucent cover. The rooms are eight feet high. This is where light weight coats are kept. The guy's closet is on the left and the girl's closet is on the right. The coat closets in the entranceway are guys to the left and the girl's to the right.
There is a two brick high ledge under the clear glass and etched panels in the corridors. The ledges run from the angled brick wall under the glass panels to the center brick panel where the paintings of The Bee are hung. The corridor is about seventeen feet wide from the window seat to the point where the brick wall meets with the glass panels. The corridor is dramatic. There is a green leafy plant by the angled brick walls near where they meet the glass panels. That would make four plants, one by each of the angled brick walls. Two at each side of the corridors.
Along the entranceway corridors there are two sections of two feet wide diagonal bricks. they break up the pattern of the light brown ceramic floor tile(12 inch x 12 inch or 10 inch x 10 inch?)
The alcoves and the entranceway corners where the windows and white stucco walls on each side are, are 7 feet x 7 feet in size. This makes the entranceway 26 x 35 feet in size with the 5 foot wide entrance vestibule.
Even if the ceilings are planked, they are first sheetrocked and painted white. Sheet rock is not very flammable. The ceilings with the Moroccan ceiling motifs are also sheetrocked and painted. They would be painted white before the other work would get done.
Any door that is wood and stained red/brown Moroccan stain has dark stained door frame and moldings around the doors..
Around the right corridor is the right side corridor. There is a brick wall at the end and around the other side of the brick wall is a three and half foot partition. This is where the dark metal side door from the Mosque Room opens against the brick partition. This is the side corridor and it is about six feet wide. with continued light brown ceramic floor tiles. The left side corridor is similar to this point but opposite. The wall next to the alcove at the end of the front corridor would be the outer wall of the 10 x 13 foot stair well. The entrance to the stair well to the lower level and up to the balconey library is located to the left in the alcove. The floor of the alcoves are brick.
Along this side corridor you come to the door to the children's play room. This room is 13 x 22 feet in size. The door and frame and moldings is painted glittery silver paint. the door opens to the left. Inside the room is planked with ornate floor and top moldings and the planking is painted glittery silver. The planking is three feet high. The upper part of the play room is wall papered with lime green, silver and off white striped wall paper. There is a switch with a silver switch plate cover on the wall to the right. This controls the ceiling fan which is stainless steel with a light which is three white tulip lights. There is a pull chain to set the speed of the fan. The ceiling is painted lime gree and there is a molding around the ceiling which is painted glittery silver. (If glittery silver paint would not work then everything glittery would be shiny silver.)
Across the room there is a doll house with furntiure in the two corners. There is a book case in between with a shelf of books for children and toys on the upper shelf.
On the wall to the right there is a large fish tank with different kinds of fish. The tank sits on a silver glossy painted cabinet. The tank cover is stainless steel. The floor is hardwood and it is stained grey. There is a round carpet centered under the ceiling fan. The carpet is off white with fringe.
There is a doll crib with sheet, pillow and blanket and of course the doll against the left wall. There is another doll crib in the corner by the fish tank. Against the front wall there are two bins with boy toys.
This is the Children's Play Room.
