Obviously you never tasted island living, i live in Sardinia Italy and it's absolutely gorgeous living on an island, especially in the Med and these Islands(not Island) we re talking about are in the Med too. When a country has an Island it brings boating traffic and tourism...that equals big $$$ in revenue to the economy, also when you have an island you need to establish ways of transportation and ferrying which puts a country one step closer to development and recognition. I agree that MOrocco is far from being ready to own an Island because of our slow economic and social progress, our coastal monitoring systems are stone age if they even do exist. but nonetheless ***c the Spanish.
