A bit fast?
Didn't you say you only met him like 2 weeks ago? Sweetheart I do not want to burst your bubble but slow down.
Write him letters, ask questions, get to know him. Go visit him, meet his friends etc.
I am an American and I am married to a Moroccan man. But I spent a year emailing, writting letters, chatting on the phone before I met him face to face. I got to know how he thinks and what he was really like on the inside.
If it is love then it will live no matter how slow you take it. If he is really interested in you then he will understand that you want to know about him. And he will want to know more about you.
Just let time takes it's course.
