Wait a minute Mr. Voltaires_priest

I know that every country has issues that the traveler needs to know about before planning a trip to and I never said the Morocco does not have some of this issues and I can list you many of them if you would like to.
But what really upsets me is when someone releases wrong and inaccurate information about anything not just a country and not just Morocco.

For Instant, before going to Rio de Janeiro Brazil, I heard many rumors and much wrong information about the country especially about Rio de Janeiro, san Paolo and Copacabana, but when I went there, nothing of all the junk I heard was true.
I had the best time of my life, I eat the most tasteful Latin American food and I meet some of the most wonderful people in my life.

Yes, you are not Moroccan and you have not been to Morocco and for that fact you can not say that what Morocco.com has said about Morocco is true.

If you want to debate this with me, I am here and willing to debate with you as long as you want.

Q: How many people that you know that have visited Morocco and got sick from food?
Q: Can you provide me with any article justifying the food issue in Morocco?
Q: How many people you know that got a STD disease while visiting Morocco?
Q: Can you provide me with any proof or article written on that fact?

You said Mr. Voltaires_priest:

Giving someone advice what to do in the event of diarrhea is hardly a slander on any nation. It is a fact that when people eat a cuisine that they're not used to, a lot of them suffer diarrhea. That's not saying that Moroccan food is "dirty"

This is what it says on Morocco.com pages: (Unhygienic cooking conditions)
How do they come up with these comments? What do you call this?

“About the STD this is what I said word by word: Morocco has the lowest percentage when it comes to STD (Sexual transmitted diseases) and it is because of the nature of the country, as a Muslim country the percentage of bisexual people is extremely low knowing that this is the number one of the causing factors for those diseases, injected street drugs are almost non existing in the country.
Most diseases that Moroccans are fighting are non contagious such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart diseases and other that no one visiting Morocco should be concerned about.”

And I am backing up what I said again, Morocco has the lowest rates when it comes to STD
Because of the nature of the country as any other Arab or Muslim country and even in some high populated Catholic countries, besides all of this why it should be a concern to any tourist about STD? Are they going to explore the country, spend a vacation, have a good time or are they going to look for ways to get STD?

I am not done yet, I always like to give example and show evidence when defending my point of view or defending my country.
Please refer to this URL to know more about Morocco:
http://<a href="http://www.cia.gov/c...tml#Issues</a>
This is an official governmental website.
Here is another one:
http://<a href="http://www.worldinfo...ry=Morocco</a>
One more official governmental website to educate your self more about Morocco:
http://<a href="http://travel.state....s_975.html</a>

I did not read most of the content of those sites but I have total confidence that you will only find accurate information as they are non commercial website and they are not there to advertise for anyone but to inform.

I will get you more when I have more time to spare.

I am sure that the material on Morocco.com about Morocco is a product of Copy and paste as I am quiet sure that neither Mr. Palley nor Mr. new admin don’t have any idea if they are publishing the truth or not, This website is just a money making machine just like a vending machine, what ever you put in it people will buy it as there is different tastes and deferent flavors, some people do read the nutrition facts on the label and some just eat it because they are hungry or they like the way it tastes.
I usually read the nutrition facts as I check for the source of anything I feed my brain with and you should to and not be just like people that just put what ever they can in their stomach.

To be continued…………

If you were to admit that the real reason it pisses you off is that you don't like reading certain viewpoints about some aspects of Morocco - and it is just some aspects, remember, the author of the article concludes that this should in no way discourage people from visiting Morocco - then your argument would ring a lot more true than it does at the moment.

Oh and by the way, I've heard the cheap throwaway "you're not Moroccan so you can't comment" line from pompous, blustering ex-pat and diasporean nationalists more often than you can possibly imagine. It's always been a hollow line and your use of it is no exception to that rule.

Now, on to the substance.

Giving someone advice what to do in the event of diarrhoea is hardly a slander on any nation. It is a fact that when people eat a cuisine that they're not used to, a lot of them suffer diarrhoea. That's not saying that Moroccan food is "dirty" (or whatever else is going on in your head), it's saying that the average western tourist (at whom the article is largely aimed) doesn't eat a lot of it day-to-day. The same is true of large numbers of other varieties of global cuisine. You may find the disorder distateful, which is what I assume you mean when you say "how discussing" (sic). But it's a fact, and it has to be dealt with.

Moving on to AIDS/STDs, I don't buy, and I've never bought, the bull that's spread by some religious conservatives (of all varieties, not just Muslim), that these diseases do not occur in "their" areas due to their supposedly superior moral values. There is a greater stigma attached to STDs by conservatives, and there is less reporting, as well as in some cases less understanding (especially among older people) as to how these diseases are spread. Frankly I think your statements reflect your personal view of how the world should be, rather than how it is. That does not an STD-free nation make, methinks. And may I add that I feel it is utterly irresponsible to pretend that these diseases are not a factor, simply because acknowledging their existence offends your sensibilities.

As for the condoms, I'll give you that one. I daresay Moroccan condoms are the finest in the world, albeit that you presumably think they're hardly ever used since everyone's so morally upstanding that they'd never have sex outside of marriage in any case.

And you speak of contradictions...
