I'm not well versed with the French and their colonial dealings with Algeria. I'd be better suited for speaking about America's dealings with colonial Britain. The Yanks didn't blow up the British parliament or any British babies, matter of fact, Ben Franklin was sent to address the British Parliament and King George as a way to resolve the American colonies' complaints so as to avoid war. Even with that said, today's conflicts aren't related to yesterday's. If the Algerians killed French babies, you know, beheaded them and broadcast it on TV, yeah, that's terroristic by design. Times do change, as they say.
Yes, many fighter pilots are heroes. Pilots who fly for professional armies who do their best to limit civilian casualties tend to be deemed heroic due to the personal risks they run. It's not considered heroic to kill anyone outside of an opposing army, unless it's like World War 2 where anihilation is required to end the conflict.

And in the Six Day War, who attacked who? So sorry you didn't like the outcome, or possibly you're still fighting it.
Why the confusion concerning which country is which? America isn't Israel. Israel isn't America.
If you're man enough, start a one-man Army and march yourself into Israel or America so you can enforce your version of Universal Law.
I've always been in favor of allowing the Palestinians and Israelis to have a final winner-take-all war. Why not? Better than fighting forever.
