If we think about the time that Moroccan Jews started migrating from Morocco... it is at roughly the same time many other Moroccans started migrating to the West, for the purpose of finding a better way of life. Morocco was a tough country to live in for many people, before there were ness el kharij... also there was the creation of the Israeli State in 1948, which made way for many Jews from all over the world to do their Aliyah, to live in their homeland and that of course is still happening now.
