This is not Sharia we see in practice. It is repression by corrupt clergy. The Iranian example is not representative of the rest of the Islamic world. The burden of proof is very high under Sharia law. The Iranian Justice System is corrupt, there is no division of power and it is therefore in no way independent.
BTW since when have Jangaweeds been liberators?? Why choose them as an example?
