al7amdu li lLah here I am in good health.
Uncle Marz was Maleek. A kind hearted gentleman who always has interesting things to say.
... back to the subject of your thread: I went CD shopping the other day but I was sad. I cannot find new stuff that makes me happy.
I saw that Ali Shaheed Muhammad has a CD out and I was excited to listen to it but I found that I did not like, which I wanted to for I have been a long ASM fan. It has a very positive vibe and was happy how he represents alIslam and not in a cheesey way (he started a label called Garden Seeker and named the album 'ShaheedulLah and other Stereotypes') but the problem is that the music sounded like it was filled with a bunch of synth presets sounds and put together in a rather predictable grooves. A couple of the MC's were pretty good (one really stood out) and has a good female singer.
Man, I just wrote a review

I could not find the new MC Eiht album and I really wanted to hear it. Supposedly it sounds like grimmy late-80's grooves and I enjoy how Eiht has not sold out on his style (yet has grown as a person on a whole). Oh well.
So I settled on an old Massive Attack album.
