I faced the same problem with my jewish Friends. the Jewsh old man would not even shake his hand with me. others made fun of Us muslim/Jewish but used to come to share the food and gave us jobs and I offered services we used to con each others cheat each others in business etc.
I remember the many times i used to swear to never speak to A JEW again BECAUSE of the let down and the countless cheatings and in return i used to do the same and we all forgave each others and started again
it was like saying we hated and loved each others at the same time. And what made me laugh was in my 20 years experience with the Jews no matter how I hated their conning actions and Via Versa we still were there for each others expecially in sickness and health which made me realise that we were just humans and religion or race was never a problem and the most important thing was we used to sit and say salam and hamdolilah to God like real cousins
and respect the religious holidays even though i was never religious before and neither were they but just had to show they were jews
