Confidence comes from self belief changing the exterior of something I believe is a fraud to ones self. There must be some HIKMA behind it.
If its not for medical reasons than its a big NO NO. These programs are documenting the lives of sad people with money and no other way of spending it. Your surgery money can be given as sadaqa, that will surely increase your confidents.

The defiency of self confidence is not always blamed down to plastic surgery. People who do are vain. regardless. It has nothing to do with religion. Though i understand and agree with your point. Kind of.
