Common sence tells me that when a man commits a crime he must pay for it according to our laws or repent and it's up to the judge to forgive him or sentence him in a fair way.
the commander of the faithful, Umar Bin al-Khattab says: "Criticize and appraise yourselves before you are criticized and appraised on the Day of Judgment, and weigh out your deeds before they are weighed out for you." (Transl.: "On that day will men proceed in groups, sorted out, to be shown their deeds. Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it." (Quran: Al Zalzalah/6-8))
the question which religion shall i follow to enter heaven?
Christianity that says heaven is only through Jesus(pbuh) or Islam that says:
And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew - or - be a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if you are truthful."
Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to God and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Surah 2 Verses 111 - 112
I think I will follow Islam cos it makes sense because
1. GOD IS ALL KNOWING.....BUT JESUS WAS NOT
2. GOD IS ALL-POWERFUL.....BUT JESUS WAS NOT
3. GOD DOES NOT HAVE A GOD.....BUT JESUS DID HAVE A GOD
4. ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE GOD IS AN INVISIBLE SPIRIT.... BUT JESUS WAS FLESH AND BLOOD
5. NO ONE IS GREATER THAN GOD AND NO ONE CAN DIRECT HIM.... BUT JESUS ACKNOWLEDGED SOMEONE GREATER THAN HIMSELF WHOSE WILL WAS DISTINCT FROM HIS OWN
The Religion before God is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book (i.e. Christians, Jews and others with scripture from earlier revelations) dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of God, God is swift in calling to account.
So if they dispute with you (Muhammad), say: "I have submitted My whole self to God and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in God's sight are (all) His servants.
Surah 3 Verses 19 - 20
