Its that time of year again. So for those fellow moroccan muslims what do you do when invited to a Christmas lunch/dinner?
There are some who refuse outright to have any part in the celebration, others who take a more liberal view and go along. The greatest difficulty i perceive is that by not participating you tend to alienate yourself from collegues and friends. Conversely, by attending, feel you are comprimising your beliefs and values to some extent. I appreciate that as Muslims respecting others religion is part of our duty so this is not really the issue, but it is more with regards to keeping the ties of the relationship you have.
Any thoughts
