Rabat, Dec. 06 - Moroccan striker, Hicham Zerouali, died Sunday in a car accident in Rabat, after he lost control of the car and hit a tree.

The international, 27, had scored twice on Saturday for his club Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in a league match, and was part of their cup winning side last month when they won the Moroccan Throne Cup.

Zerouali was signed from FUS Rabat in October 1999 and became a firm favourite with the Aberdeen supporters who nicknamed him "Zero.

He was the first player to be given special dispensation to wear the number ‘zero‘ on his jersey in recognition of the nickname he had been given by the club’s fans.

He later joined Al Nasr in the United Arab Emirates before returning to play in Morocco with FAR.

I dont know how this accident happened but do people agree that its craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy on the roads in Morocco? People seem to have no driving sense or skill & stepping behind the wheel feels like you're taking your life in to your own hands.
