Rudness is accross the board when it comes to consular services, it would seem that it is a by product of this line of business..I applied for a Shengen Visa for my wife at -what i thought would be the easiest place to go "Spain"- And i got the shock of the lifetime of what particular and detailed requirements they asked of us.Who can blame them i guess!;working in the heart of DC on a spanish partime salary looks like it has a lot to do with it,and that goes also for the Moroccan consulate general employees either in DC or Newyork.
P.S the one and only Moroccan embassy in the U.S is the one in DC.The General Consulate of Morocco in Newyork;the one you called;is a tiny room in I think the 25th floor of a building that has a service glass window, something that looks like "guichet" in a Moroccan bus station and a couple of seats in the waiting area.Tow people can sit and 50 others stand looking at them, having a website will be something totally out of their league.
