Description:

Long distance running enthusiasts can celebrate the New Year by participating in this popular annual event. The event offers a choice of a full marathon of just over 42 kilometers or a half marathon of 21 kilometers. Both follow routes that pass through the oasis town of Zagora, offering a variety of challenges and exquisite scenery.

This will be the sixth edition of the Zagora Extreme Marathon and organizers expect even better support than in previous years. Runners will enjoy a New Year's party celebration in the Sahara Desert at the conclusion of the race.
