The Transmarocaine Challenge is a multi-sport event that takes place in the beautiful seaside city of Essaouira and slowly makes its way through some of Morocco’s most beautiful towns, villages and of course the beautiful and renowned Atlas Mountains.
Description:
Each team is made up of two competitors - either male, female or mixed - with challenges taking place in the running, mountain biking, orienteering, abseiling and canoeing.
Competitors will have to endure for nine days over a variety of landscapes from rivers to dunes to stony lands and palm grove fields; certainly an unbelievable experience! The Transmarocaine Challenge takes place from 7 to 15 March.
