Eid al-Fitr signals the end of Ramadam and the beginning of a three-day festival where Muslims all over the world give generously to those in need, as well as enjoying the company of family of friends. This is a joyous time when families seperated by distance make a point of connecting - either via the telephone line or by visiting one another.
