Visiting Morocco's Diverse Art Galleries

Feast your eyes on stunning masterpieces by many local and international artists at the art galleries listed below.

The eclectic pulse and electrifying atmosphere that can be enjoyed throughout Morocco is often captured in the brilliant colors and bold designs that are visible in every city. The diverseness of the landscape and the intensity of the culture often seem somewhat captivated by the many forms of artwork that are so often seen and sometimes sold in galleries and on the streets in the various towns of this historical country.

When traversing the country, you may find yourself eyeing the deliciously rich, carved furniture. Or you might find you fancy the strong, geometric designs and amazing colors that are woven into the thick, intrinsically beautiful carpets available in so many shops and markets. Perhaps you would enjoy amazingly ornate ceramics with their intricate designs or captivating mosaics. You may prefer more conventional forms of art, such as sculpture, painting and calligraphy. All of these items can be found while winding through the bustling streets of the various towns and cities of Morocco.

Really, if you have the opportunity to visit this resplendent country, your trip would be incomplete without a little memento of some sort. The following is a list of art galleries to help you in this pursuit.

Sir/Madam, Sir/Madam, I am greatly interested in reviewing and possibly purchasing Moroccan art. I particularly interested in painting (oil, water colours, abstract, portraits, etc.). It seems most art galleries are located in Marrakesh, Tangiers, or Essaouira. Would you be so kind to inform if there are any art galleries in Rabat and Casablanca. In information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance. Sharif
